This information will guide you in updating your version of Moodle, determine if it is the right learning platform for your students, and to give you options for professional learning as you guide student learning in a virtual world.
LISD’s 1:X Initiative Receives International Recognition
Apple recently named Lewisville ISD’s (LISD) 1:X™ initiative as an Apple Distinguished Program for 2014-2016, a two-year designation. With a 30-year history of investing in creative approaches to education, Apple’s Distinguished Program award recipients are recognized internationally for setting the bar for high-quality, innovative education programs. Apple qualifies the award as non-competitive. LISD has researched past recipients of this award and there has been approximately three Texas Apple Distinguished Programs since 2007.
Lewisville ISD Superintendent Selected for National Connected Superintendents Summit at White House
Lewisville ISD (LISD) Superintendent Dr. Stephen F. Waddell has been selected by the U.S. Department of Education as one of 100 top school leaders from across America to participate in the first-ever National Connected Superintendents Summit on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the White House.
